Estate 5 Bar Gate

Made in Britain logoAn impressive 5 Bar entrance gate, with its extended curved hanging stile.

Description

The Estate 5 Bar gate makes an impressive 5 Bar entrance gate, with its extended curved hanging stile.

The classic design gate incorporates a tapered top bar with a superior hanging stile joined using traditional hardwood stop dowelled mortice & tenon joints. It is reinforced by an extended diagonal brace. Planed smooth finish with stainless steel fittings.

Estate 5 Bar gates 4’6” wide and over will have an extended harr. Gates under 4’6” wide will not have the extended stile as standard.

Made in Britain, The Estate 5 Bar entrance gate is manufactured using sustainable slow grown softwood.  Slow grown softwood is more dense and as a result produces a better quality wood. Made from specially selected timber for a more stable quality gate. Therefore, a more durable gate. Hardwood is ethically sourced joinery grade Iroko.

Until gates are installed they should be handled carefully. Do not drag across each other or across surfaces.
Ideally all gates should be stored under cover in an open sided building and out of direct sunlight. Should be stored flat on level bearers. Can be stored upright against a wall (must not be uneven) with both stiles evenly supported but preferably, not for too long.

Please note

Gates cannot be left exposed to the elements until fully treated, Iroko gates have been produced at 16% moisture content and need to be kept dry. Avoid direct contact withsunlight until the gate has been fully treated

Bracing

The number of diagonal and upright braces will vary depending on the size of the gate.
