The Hemington driveway gate a stylish hardwood gate which incorporates black finished steel finials. The finials run through the top bar of the Hemington for added strength. The lower part of the gate is tongue & groove match boarding. This adaptable gate can be used as a pair of attractive driveway entrance gates, or as a striking garden gate.
This quality made to measure gate is created using modern technology as well as traditional joinery skills. The Hemington driveway gate has strong construction with precision mortice & tenon joints and a planed finish. Water run off features help extend the life of the gates. These features encourage the water to run off as well as impeding water ingress. The gates are also supplied with two coats of preservative. All gates must be treated with a modern UV oil prior to installation.
Made in Britain, the Hemington driveway gate is manufactured using ethically sourced joinery grade Iroko.

Storage | Until gates are installed they should be handled carefully. Do not drag across each other or across surfaces. Ideally should be stored flat on level bearers. Can be stored upright against a wall (must not be uneven) with both stiles evenly supported but preferably, not for too long. These gates have been produced at 16% moisture content and need to be kept dry. Avoid direct contact with sunlight until the gate has been fully treated |
